I worked as an environment artist at Paw Print Games on our first VR title, Bloody Zombies, which was released in Autumn 2017 for Oculus, Vive, PS4, Xbox One and Nintendo Switch. During the course of the project I became art lead, responsible for the visual direction of the game and art workflow.

Bloody Zombies includes 7 levels with 15 post-apocalyptic British environments ranging from the high streets of London to the catacombs below.

My responsibilities included:

  • Designing, modelling, texturing and lighting levels
  • Developing assets considering the limitations of VR
  • Working with external art director to create style
  • Task and time management for art team
  • Carrying out final art pass on all levels and providing feedback to art team to ensure art style remains consistent throughout
